Approved logos should be used exactly as provided. Please do not stretch, distort, recolor, crop, rotate, outline, recreate, or add effects to any official CVCS logo or mark.

Logos should be placed on clean backgrounds with enough contrast to remain easy to read. When creating materials for apparel, signage, social media, print, media coverage, or promotional items, please use the approved logo files from this page.

New or custom logos for teams, clubs, activities, events, or fundraisers should be reviewed before public use.

Use the approved CVCS colors and fonts when creating school-related materials. Consistent colors and typography help all schools, teams, activities, and programs feel connected to the larger CVCS identity.

Many CVCS athletics, activities, clubs, and programs maintain their own social media accounts. These accounts are an important extension of the Cedar Valley Catholic Schools brand and should reflect our mission, values, and Catholic identity.

All CVCS-affiliated social media accounts should use approved names, logos, colors, and messaging. Content should be positive, respectful, student-centered, and aligned with the mission of Cedar Valley Catholic Schools.

Accounts should avoid using altered logos, unapproved graphics, inappropriate music or language, low-quality images, or content that does not reflect the values of CVCS.

Account Naming Guidelines

Use clear names that connect the account to CVCS or Columbus Catholic.

Examples:

Columbus Catholic Volleyball
Columbus Catholic Boys Basketball
CVCS Campus Ministry
Columbus Catholic Drama
CVCS Alumni

Avoid names that are unclear, overly casual, or disconnected from the school brand.

Bio Guidelines

Each account bio should clearly identify the team, activity, or program as part of Cedar Valley Catholic Schools.

Example bio:

Profile Photo Guidelines

Use an approved logo, team mark, or activity logo. Do not use blurry images, cropped screenshots, unofficial graphics, or altered versions of the school logo.

Content Guidelines

Posts should highlight students, teams, events, achievements, faith, service, community, and school pride.

Content should be:

Positive
Respectful
Accurate
On-brand
Family-friendly
Aligned with Catholic values
Easy to read and visually clean

Before Posting

Before posting, account managers should check:

Is the information accurate?
Does this reflect CVCS well?
Are students represented respectfully?
Is the logo used correctly?
Is the music/language appropriate?
Would this make sense to families, alumni, and the community?

All apparel, merchandise, uniforms, spirit wear, fundraising items, banners, signs, and promotional materials should use approved CVCS logos and colors.

Before placing an order with a vendor, please make sure the design follows the brand guidelines. Designs that include new graphics, altered logos, sponsor placement, or public-facing materials may need approval before production.
